1993 Toyota Camry, Died and Won't Start

I was driving my 93 Toyota Camry and it started to buck a little, as if maybe there was water in the gas. Then, it lost it's power. Radio and such stayed on but you push the gas pedal and nothing happens. I pulled over and turned the car off. The heat gauge wasn't high. It was normal temp. I tried to restart the car and it won't. It turns over, but nothing happens. Could it be external coil? Fuel pump? It's a v6.

Steve Says

Yes it could be wither of those things. The coil, ignition module and fuel pump could all be the cause of your problem.

If you want to start the diagnosis yourself you can get a spark tester and a fuel pressure gauge. These will tell you if it is a spark or fuel problem. It is also possible that the timing belt broke. If the spark and fuel pressure are good then it is time to start looking at possible timing belt problems.

I hope this has helped and please post the fix when you know what it is.
