have a friend help u make sure vehicle is in park with emergency brake on one person needs to hold key on starting position while other person adjustes the safety neautral switch on side of tranmission on driver side ive done it and its been fine ever since just loosen the one bolt and turn it slow until it cranks and tighten it back up good luck

it could be the neutral safety switch. put it in neutral and try starting it next time that happens.
