2001 Dodge Ram, Electrical Problems
My problems started right after another. Thinking they might all be associated with one device or one location. The problem started with my side mirror defrost not working, then my automatic lock on the passenger side, then my fan speed-it's either the lowest speed or the highest speed. The two speeds in between don't work.
Where am I not looking?
I know the power lock fuse shorts when replaced.

Thanks for asking me your electrical problem. It is possible that the heated mirror and power locks are on the same circuit, but it is not likely that the fan is on that same one too...although it is possible. The first thing that needs to be dealt with is this shorting problem you are having. It sounds like there is somewhere in the circuit that is shorted directly to ground which is why the fuse is blowing. The most likely place for this to be happening is in the switch or between the door and the body of the car where the wiring harness has to flex but it could be other places.
