Alright, my car is offically fixed! Thank you! It was the IAC like you suggested along with the throttle sensor. It is running at 800-1000 rpm's and is just fantastic! Thank you so much for your help! It has been months, Im so glad I decided to ask on your website!

What should a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM idle at? I took it into the shop this morning and they said that it was normal to idle at 550.

That sounds about right. I don't know what the spec. is from the service manual but that RPM is a fairly common rpm range.
