Turns out it is the AC compressor going out. My extended warranty is in place and I have $0 cost to fix this. Thanks for your help anyway.

Thanks for posting the fix for this problem. I'm so glad that it is covered under warranty. Sometimes extended warranties aren't very good at covering things like this so I'm very glad that yours is.
