2003 Ford Mustang, Making Noise When I Press in Clutch

I have a 2003 mustang V6 3.8L that has a loud grinding noise when I push the clutch in. It's periodic but my clutch is stiff and I'm pretty sure its going to break down soon. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Steve Says,

Thanks for asking me your question. The most likely cause of your problem is a bad throwout bearing. When you press on the clutch pedal it puts pressure on the bearing which, in turn, puts pressure on the pressure plate springs and lets you shift into a different gear.

It is possible that this problem is caused by something else, but it is likely a bearing problem. I hope this has helped.
