I have a 2004 Avanche and just noticed two pairof buttons out on steering wheel. I am glad I read this and saved myself all the running around. Like Teresa and her husband, I will wait for the rest to go out. My 2004 Avalanche has had numerous bugs (some big), but it is paid off (finally). We have a nickname for it: Lemon

Just received a call from the dealership stating the cost to replace the switch in the steering wheel is about $180, but that they find sometimes when you replace one, because you are messing with wiring that others tend to stop working as well, so I asked what the price was on all of them, he told me around $380+/-. I told him I think I'll wait till they are all out then!
