Xterra A/C leaks
by: Trimmer

Nisson has a TSB on the pass. side A/C leak. They have a small rubber elbow that attaches outside firewall, on plastic drain tube to route water away from firewall. Water is exiting current drain tube and running back onto firewall and in some cases under gasket that seals airbox to firewall interface. Water gets under gasket and onto floor under carpets. Also you want to remove top of center console, remove fastner holding carpet to air vent, remove passanger seat- DONT TURN IGNITION ON OR START CAR WITH SEAT DISCONNECTED FROM WIRING HARNESS OR YOU WILL SET AN AIRBAG CODE(light),and remove cartet and dry carpet and black rubber sound shield below glove box( has foam rubber under black rubber shield). Dry sound shield in place-don't remove.
