2004 Nissan Xterra Water Drips Under Dash

water is dripping under the dash on passenger side when raining or using defrost or ac what do we do?

Steve Says,

The most likely cause of your problem is a drain tube that is plugged. If you jack up your car and crawl under it you should be able to find a plastic tube that comes out of the body of your car. It should be under the passenger side footwell and near the firewall. Take a piece of wire or something else that is stiff and flexible (but won't break) and stick it up the tube several times. You should see junk come out of the drain tube.

This tube is supposed to drain and condensation or water that accumulates in the heating and AC system on your car. Sometimes they get plugged with debris and cause the type of problem that you are having.

I hope this helps. Good luck
