Had this problem by: Anonymous
It is most likley the Blower motor resistor which is located underneith the glove box. Do a search on the the Blower motor and how they burn up and how to check.

05 Chev Silverado climate fan prob by: Case
Had the same thing happen to my 05 silverado, my problem was the neg in the plug to the resistor burned. So I cleaned up the connection and plugged it back in...in the future just don't run the fan on the highest setting.

Problems by: Steve
My buddy has a 2005 Chevy Silverado and has a problem with his climate control. His #5 on the control for the fan is not working. Was just wondering if anyone had sugestions on what it might be. Don't want him to have to replace something he might not have to.
