My nightmare at Canadian Tire
by: Billie-Gail MacFarlane

I take my Honda Civic in. Just a check on everything. I did know I needed 2 new tie rods.
I also asked to have emissions test done.

I was called 4hrs, after I took it in, with a quote. It was $2000.00 and some cents.

I pick the car up. The bill all of a sudden was $2195.00. I look for the e-test paper work. There was none.

I call, they did not do the emissions test. I did ask for that before I even gave them the keys to my car. I also expected that was included in their phone call quote of $2000.00 and some cents.

My cars will never see a Canadian Tire Auto shop again. My now deceased husband warned me to never take my car to CT. He was a Class A Mechanic. He actually worked for Canadian Tire for a couple months. He left due to their work ethics.
