p0053 and a p0101 on a 2005 Chevy Blazer

I have both theses codes, and changed the mass flow sensor and the o2 sensor, and after 10 fire ups I got the same codes again.
Steve Says,Thanks for visiting my website.
There are several things that might be happening here. The first thing that you need to do is check the wiring harness from the MAF sensor to the computer. Just follow it and check all connections and look for any place that the wiring might have been damaged. Since we know the sensor itself is good (unless you got a bad part...which does happen) we need to look at other things that might be causing this problem.
After you inspect the wiring harness you need to take your air filter out and be sure that it is not clogged. It probably isn't, but we need to be sure. You might just want to replace it if you haven't done it in a while. While the air filter is out you should inspect the tubing that goes to the mass airflow sensor and from the MAF to the intake manifold. Make sure that it is in good condition and that there are no vacuum leaks.
While you are looking at that you will want to also check all of the other hoses and ducting to make sure you have no vacuum leaks. If you want a quick test to check this out you can spray some carburetor cleaner on the hoses with the engine running. If there is a leak you will hear the rpms pick up when you spray it over the leak.
The other possibility is that you have a bad manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Since the computer uses both of these sensors to do calculations, if one of them is bad it can make the other one look like it is bad as well.
As far as the o2 sensor code, you need to first be sure that you got a good quality sensor and the one that was meant for your car. Sometimes people just get the cheapest ones possible and they will sometimes cause problems because they are just not good enough quality. Also, be sure that you changed the right sensor. There are several oxygen sensors on your car and you might have replaced the wrong one. The code you have is for bank 1 sensor 1 which is on the drivers side between the engine and the catalytic converter.
You will need to inspect all of the wiring for your o2 sensor like you did for the MAF sensor. Make sure that there are no wiring problems.
I think this should get you on the right track. Feel free to leave a comment if you need more help or these tests don't help you find the problem.
